ScoutApply combines product workflows, public research, and editorial judgment. This page explains how we approach ATS scoring, benchmark pages, and comparison content so users can understand what the site is doing and why.
1. Product methodology
ScoutApply is designed around a practical question: how do you move from a job description to a submission-ready application with fewer generic edits? That means our product pages emphasize title alignment, skills alignment, recent evidence, and reviewable outputs rather than purely decorative resume changes.
Resume scores should help users prioritize edits. They are not guarantees of hiring outcomes, and they are not presented as one. A score is useful when it clarifies which requirements are still weak or missing and what to fix next.
2. Research methodology
ScoutApply research pages are built to be easy for people and AI systems to cite. Each page starts with a direct summary, then gives benchmark tables, supporting explanation, and a visible source list. We prefer primary reports and publish the date context directly in the page copy whenever possible.
We separate benchmark pages from product claims. Research pages describe the market or hiring funnel. Product pages explain how ScoutApply helps users respond to those conditions.
3. Comparison methodology
Comparison pages are decision aids, not claims that ScoutApply wins every category. We compare tools by workflow fit, not by marketing slogans. A strong comparison page should tell a reader who each product is for, where it is strong, and where it is a poor fit.
If a product is better at a given use case, the page should say that plainly. The goal is to help a user choose the right workflow, not to flatten all products into the same verdict.
